Très beau travail de tissage, motifs en fils de couleur. Environ 50 ans.
Le pagne est un ensemble de 14 bandelettes de coton cousues les unes aux autres.
Petites parties décousues sur 2 X 10 cm.
Très très bel état de conservation du au fait qu'il s'agit d'un textile complexe, non prévu pour être porté, mais destiné à enrichir le trésor de famille et à être transmis à la lignée, ou ayant servi de monnaie de mariage ou lors de transactions importantes.

The grass skirt is a set of 14 sewn cotton strips the some in the others.
Small parts unstitched on 2 X 10 cms.
Very very beautiful state of conservation of in the fact which it is about a complex textile, not foreseen to be worn, but intended of enriching the treasure of family and of being passed on to the lineage, or having served of wedding currency or during important deals.
